TURKISH BATH & SPA
at Ölüdeniz
A Turkish bath, also known as a hammam, is a traditional bathing and cleansing ritual that originated in Turkey and has been practiced for centuries. It is a form of steam bath where the focus is on relaxation, cleansing, and rejuvenation.
In a traditional Turkish bath, there are various chambers or rooms with different temperatures. The process typically begins in a warm room where you relax and prepare your body for the bathing experience. Then you move to a hotter room where you are exposed to steam and hot water to open up your pores.
After spending some time in the hot room, you proceed to the central area called the "gobek tasi" or navel stone, which is usually made of marble. Here, you lie down on it while an attendant scrubs your body using an exfoliating mitt called a kese. This helps remove dead skin cells and promotes blood circulation.
Following the scrubbing session, you receive a soap massage using olive oil-based soap foam. The attendant uses special techniques to massage your body and help cleanse it further.
Afterward, you rinse off under cool water showers or dip into cold pools before entering the final relaxation room where you can rest while enjoying tea or other refreshments.
Turkish baths are not only about physical cleansing but also about mental relaxation and socializing. They provide an opportunity to unwind, relieve stress, improve blood circulation, detoxify the body, and promote overall well-being.

after 30 mins drive, we will be in 1760 meters flight runway.
